Black Buck, also known as Krishan Sar is found in The Blackbuck Conservation Area in Western Nepal. The conservation area was established in 2009 to conserve the endangered blackbuck. The conservation which is in Bardiya District in Western Nepal covers an area of about 16.95 sqkm.
In 2009 there were about 202 blackbucks, 73 males, 111 females and 18 calves.
